Yes. The evidence for God includes the complexity of the universe, the genetic code, fine-tuning of nature, and even near-death experiences. These all point toward a purposeful Creator who is deeply involved in His creation.

God allows us to have free will and as such people can be selfish and hurt each other. The Bible says that God uses all circumstances for the good of those who love Him. The existence of suffering can bring about greater growth, character, and ultimately draw people closer to God, who shows His love even through difficult circumstances. God’s ultimate purpose is for our eternal salvation.

The excruciating suffering of Jesus demonstrates God’s love for humanity and ultimate purpose to restore us to Him.

We are in rebellion against our Creator God as evidenced by our selfish desires and behaviour. This separates us from our Maker, and from each other. We are reconciled to God and saved from His judgement when we repent and trust Jesus.
